Maple Braised Brussels Sprouts

16 oz of Brussels Sprouts
1/3 cup of water
1 tbsp of black pepper
5 tbsps of maple syrup

1. Heat a large frying pan (Note: you will need a cover for this later) to medium high heat and drizzle with a small amount of oil.

2. Slice each Brussels sprout in half and add to pan. Sprinkle with black pepper.

3. Saute for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Reduce to medium heat, add water, and cover. Cook for 25 minutes.

4. Remove cover, let cool and portion into tupperware, removing any excess water. Drizzle each serving with 1 tbsp of maple sryup.
