Easy Vegan Cheese Pizza

Easy Vegan Cheese Pizza

Total Time: 2 Hours and 35 Minutes | Prep Time: 15 Minutes | Cook Time: 2 Hours and 20 Minutes | Servings: 6

Ingredients
1 cup of bread flour
2 packets of active dry yeast
1/2 cup of warm water
1 cup of whole wheat flour
1 cup of tomato sauce
8 oz of vegan mozzarella (I used Miyoko’s)

Directions
1. In a bowl, combine bread flour, active dry yeast, and warm water. Knead dough for about 5 minutes, cover and let sit for 2 hours.

2. Preheat oven to 450F.

3. Coat a clean surface with up to 1 cup of whole wheat flour. Add dough to flour and roll out into a circle using a rolling pin. Note: to prevent sticking, flip dough occasionally while rolling out.

4. Add to dough to a pizza stone or circle baking dish. Top with up to 1 cup of tomato sauce (depending on your taste) and vegan mozzarella. Leave 1 “ margins on the edges for crust.

5. Fold the edges towards the center to create crust.

6. Bake for 20 minutes.

7. Remove from oven, let cool and enjoy!
