Flavorful Homemade Granola

Flavorful Homemade Granola

Total Time: 40 Minutes | Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 30 Minutes | Servings: 6

Ingredients
1 cup of rolled oats
2 tbsp of sunflower kernels
1 and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 cup of maple syrup
2 tbsp of melted coconut oil
1/2 tbsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of dried strawberry pieces
1/4 cup of dried mulberries

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 300F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, combine rolled oats, sunflower kernels and cinnamon.  Mix well.

3. Add maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla extract to the bowl.  Mix well.

4. Spread granola onto baking sheet.  Bake for 30 minutes, tossing after 15 minutes.  Remove from oven and let cool. 

5. Add dried strawberries and mulberries to granola and mix well.

6. Use to top your favorite breakfast bowls or enjoy as is!
