Lemon Garlic Thyme Bread with Berry Compote

Total Time: 1 Hour and 30 Minutes | Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 1 Hour and 20 Minutes | Servings: 5

Ingredients
2 cups of bread flour
1 cup of warm water
1 packet of active dry yeast
2 lemons
1 tsp of thyme
8 oz of blackberries
16 oz of blueberries

Directions
1. Pour bread flour and warm water into a small bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.

2. Add flour to a large mixing bowl and pour in water and yeast mixture. Mix well and let sit for 30 minutes.

3. Add blackberries and blueberries to a medium-sized pot. Cook on medium for 30 minutes and set aside. Stir frequently.

4. Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a rectangular baking tray. Add dough mixture and bake for 50 minutes.

5. Remove bread from oven and let cool. Slice into 10 equal pieces.

6. When ready to serve, top with 1 tbsp of berry compote.
