1 large carrot
2 tbsp of agave nectar
1/4 cup of reduced sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp of liquid smoke
1. Peel and cut a large carrot into thin, strip like pieces.
2. In a shallow glass bowl, add agave nectar, soy sauce and liquid smoke. Whisk together.
3. Add carrot strips to marinade and coat well. Let sit for 10 minutes.
4. Heat a large frying pan to medium high heat. Add carrot strips to pan and saute for 5 minutes each side, or until carrots have softened.
5. Let cool and serve.
