Vegan Sausage Recipe

Total Time: 1 Hour | Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 50 Minutes | Servings: 2

14 oz of pressed tofu
1 tsp of onion powder
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of red chili flakes
1 tbsp of nutritional yeast
2 tbsps of reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tsp of tomato paste

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. In a blender, combine tofu, onion powder, garlic powder, red chili flakes, nutritional yeast, soy sauce and tomato paste. Blend until smooth.

3. Lay out a large rectangular piece of aluminum foil onto a baking sheet. Pour tofu in a straight thin line approximately 1”-2” thick. Take the long edge of tin foil at the bottom and place the edge slightly above the top of the tofu. Roll the tofu so that it is tightly wrapped in foil and twist the edges, creating a sausage shape.

4. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely (approximately 20 minutes). Once completely cooled, unwrap sausage.

5. Add to your favorite dishes and enjoy!
